So what's the deal in notching a closed bar design, what benefits can be acquired from doing this?

Am I correct that this is the first original Chinese design of a DE razor? ie they didn't completely cloned a razor?

I have seen something like that before but I cant place it right now. But then most razors are clones, lifts or very similar to previous designs.

I haven't received it yet, but the description states brass. If I don't like the way it shaves, I'll use the handle on the brass General.

Don't know about the benefits of that design, but the razor sure looks nice (at least in the photos!) in that copper colour

Sure it's a looker. I have one of these and an Yaqi at ready to pull the trigger.

Instead of the razor I received a chrome razor stand , started a dispute and got a refund after a few days , I have not re ordered , got more than enough razors as it is .
Hasn't something like this happened before ?or hopefully for the rest of you it was a completely honest packing mistake , this time around .
