I like the executive shaving oil. This is a very thick oil which gives great protection and glide. The oil it self is water based which means it does not leave any residue in the sink nor does clog up the blade. I Love using it. I've not tried the BBA shave oil so can't compare them both.
ES oil was my go-to pre-shave for the exact reasons you state, but since starting to use BBA, I'm converted, the performance may be similar, but I'm convinced that the ingredients in the BBA are better and the benefits to the skin continue outside of the actual shave.I like the executive shaving oil. No-one on here ever said that our preferred method of shaving was cheaper,....better shaves,..better for your skin,...much more enjoyable,...can't remember anything about cheaper,....If they did, they were lying!I will have to give it a go then who said DR was supposed to be cheaper???
