Probably the most popular watch on the planet!!Casio F-91W
@Manstein the CWC is traditionally the supplier of wristwatches to the British armed forces, The G10 is perhaps their most famous issue, given to recruits for many decades as far as i know. I'm no watch historian but, I'm sure there are those out there who no much more about it. They do produce watches for airforce, navy etc as well as the army and they can be of increasing complexity. The G10, like the one I have, is the most basic...not even a date function...but that's one of the reasons I like it...I hate changing the date on watches! It also has very bright luminous hands.Greybeard I'm not familiar with CWC but I like the battery hatch. Does the complete back plate screw off?
A JLC Squadra one of my favourite watches I like the art deco details.

Does the Casio W-800H eclipse the F-91W; a little more substantial with an extra button, but of course, double the price at around £18.00? I do believe that the F-91W was my first Casio watch, probably around 36 years ago (if it was around then).
Not for me!...The F-91W remains a masterpiece of design and engineering, that I do not think Casio has bettered yet.
Nice set of Casio's (and Missoni's). Yes always good to think about the local situation when going on holiday and be sympathetic to all's needs. To this aim, I always use the unassuming Casio W-800H when I go on holiday. It's just a shame that to my knowledge replacement straps for this particular watch costs almost as much as the watch itself!Continuing the Casio theme if you prefer analogue watches here are a pair I use regularly especially if I'm going abroad. The prices of both fluctuate amazingly but I think the pair didn't cost me more than £20.
