What Watch Are You Wearing Today?

I'm tempted to pick up a Casio Duro Marlin from Amazon US. The UK ones have lost the fish logo. They're going on ebay for scalper prices for some reason which makes no sense as anyone can buy from the US for less than £60 although there's potential for import duties maybe and the T&Cs for international Amazon purchases are different.

It is in a way just another Submariner homage but for pocket money and seems to have quite a cult following all of its own if the watch forums are anything to go by. The only reason I haven't already got one is that I'm torn between it and the discontinued but still findable Timex Harborside with similar style but Indiglo. The Casio looks better but Indiglo means it's actually useful after dark.

Same here - have always fancied the Duro, but have never pressed the button. Have read that some folk find them quite big on the wrist. I quite like the idea of joining the cult ;)

As an alternative to Amazon US - do you know the website Great Watches (linked) ? They seem to specialise in importing the Duro, as well as other Casio's.

Cheers for that @Glen_Lee I have heard of them but had actually forgotten about it. They also ship from USA but in a jiffy bag unless you pay £13 to have the box shipped too. But I think they may be a good option as they deal with the paperwork, so they say. I've never bought from them but I think £50 for the Duro with the Marlin logo is good.
