Schick Krona, the idiots DE razor. The qualities I'd look for a) able to deliver a smooth trouble free shave with each shave b) easy to learn how to use and c) not so expensive as to be out of reach for most folks. Ive not yet found the perfect razor.
+ 1 this..for me the AS-D2 is the perfect razor but that perfection costs youThe Feather AS-D2 has all the qualitys I look for in a razor, well made, easy to use and provides perfect shaves every time ( when fitted with the right blade for your skin) Souplex for me! P.
For those of you saying that the AS-D2 is the bomb, I need some advice.+ 1 this..for me the AS-D2 is the perfect razor but that perfection costs you
Sorry can't comment on the timeless never tried one what I can say is the AS-D2 is the first razor I ever bought and I splashed out as I didn't want to buy an alternative and then end up spending more buying both since then I've had some really nice razors but sold every one of them. Nothing compares its the only razor I own now and I knew right from the first shave I'd picked a winnerFor those of you saying that the AS-D2 is the bomb, I need some advice.
I am contemplating a new razor and am trying to decide between the AS-D2 and the Timeless 0.68 safety bar.
Any comments?
I too have never used a Timeless razor so can not help you there. Sorry. P.For those of you saying that the AS-D2 is the bomb, I need some advice.

Out of interest @Blademonkey what type of souplex blades do you use haven't tried these tend to stick to the feather and kai ?The Feather AS-D2 has all the qualitys I look for in a razor, well made, easy to use and provides perfect shaves every time ( when fitted with the right blade for your skin) Souplex for me! Souplex blades made in Solingen Germany, I find these to be as sharp as the Feather blades but smoother from the first shave. I buy mine from NTS Solingen Germany www.scherenpofl.com just under £30 for 100 delivered to the UK.Out of interest @Blademonkey what type of souplex blades do you use haven't tried these tend to stick to the feather and kai ?
