What are you listening to?

I'll stick the link on, I absolutely love it..
Bangin' - the Sleaford Mods were my 'new find' of the year. Big and clever - the perfect antidote to Insta-vacuousness and Z Factor fuck-piggery. It amuses me that Jason Williamson is only two years younger than me. There's hope for us all yet! If you print the lyrics out - they read like poetry - John Cooper Clarke poetry. Dead dandelions and bumble bees........ I.

Terry Hall and Mike Hodges in one week. The latter observed by the BBC World Service - good obit. - Get Carter obviously but I had forgotten that he directed the 1980 version of Flash Gordon. I remember seeing it in the cinema at the time - obviously too young to realise it is as camp as a row of camp things. Pink camp things. Gordon's Alive! No danger. :) - I.

I completely missed this story, Iain. Just read his obituary. Love Get Carter - one of my favourite films. The Roy Budd soundtrack isnt too shabby neither :)
