What are you listening to?


This tune was a huge part of my growing up. I remember seeing it performed on the White Room when I was about 14 (in 1996?) or something, his vocals added a strange sense of vulnerbility and detachment to the song.

Now and again I'd revisit the song and it still sounds as ethereal as it did the first time I heard it. I'm listening to it now as I'm writing this, I'm finding his verse to be as moving as it ever was.

Love the photos from The Guardian. My particular favourite has always been Dream a little Dream for the Help album.

Just read the BBC news article. No idea what he went through as a 12 year old.
