I like Buddy Guy myself.John Lee Hooker is my favourite though.
Buddy Guy is something else. His searing tone, his attack, the licks, the man is just incredible. You can see why Clapton lauds him as the best guitar player alive today, and you can see where SRV drew his influence. For me, tonights aural temptation is Sweet Home Chicago. We're looking to perform it at some point soon, so am getting the song under my skin. I do love the blues, and am using this version as inspiration. It's like the ultimate blues
I pick up one of my Strats and the blues comes naturally.
