Woke up early hours for work and to the news that finally we have a ladies grand slam champion after a 44 year wait.

Not only that but to be the first ever qualifier to win a slam championship and only 18 years old. Wonderful. A great future lies ahead.

Well done Emma you gave us all something to smile and be proud of.

Well done indeed.
The match was live on Channel 4 yesterday at 9pm. She played some great tennis, actually they both did to be fair. Amazingly, she did not drop one set in the whole tournament, winning all her matches in 2 straight sets.
I'm definitely tipping her to win SP of the year!
She has a great future ahead of her for sure.
