This may be a daft question, but,I have just got a birth year Slim Adjustable Razor in near immaculate condition .
It does however have a couple of minor scratches on the bomb bay doors .
Is it possible to "polish" out these scratches and how do you go about it ?
Regards
Derrick

Yes?? On some heads there may be a protective coating that Gillette put on . If it's still there, polishing may make it look worse. Becareful.

Depends on how deep the scratches are, but yes, you can at least attenuate them using polish and some cotton.

Max

They are only light Max,on the surface, what sort of polish do I use ?

Derrick

I would use either silver polish or just car polish, use cotton wool.
The wool will go black, then once finished, clean the razor properly, you do not want the chemicals they put in those polishes rubbing on your skin.
(just wash it with washing up liquid and a soft sponge)
