Vintage Boots blades - Gillette, not Wilkinson Sword...

I have some i think they are Gillette Super Silver but you’ll need to open the pack to verify

hahahaha the packaging is the sameDo they look the same as mine, the packaging? Or did you mean that you think the packaging looks like super silvers?

Anyone know how many manufacturers of DE blades there were in the UK around that time these blades were sold? (i'm guessing these are late 80s, early 90s?) I think there were only Wilkinson Sword and Gillette producing blades? The packet says made in UK. These dispensers are also exactly the same as the Gillette dispensers, so i'm pretty sold on them being a Gillette product even though it doesn't say Gillette on it.
I actually have a Boot's razor/gift pack that contains an aluminium handled Tech, however it's not actually stamped "Gillette" on the head, so they must have had some kind of relationship with Boot's.
I wonder if that chap who worked at the Isleworth plant would know, maybe he might see this thread and comment
