Hi all, for those who have been following this you will know that Taz had an all day long visit to the vet's today for a glucose curve tests in his blood and urine, the results looked good so he is for the time being on the correct amount of insulin every day however they did find a high level of an enzyme in his blood that could indicate another underlying problem, possibly in his liver. This has to be monitored so I will need to take him back in a month's time to have another blood / urine test.
In the meantime I just need to keep a close eye on him and let the vets know if anything is amiss.
Fingers crossed all is well and he keeps responding well to the insulin jabs.
It was a big hit today £Â£ but because of all your wonderful help it was manageable and I won't have to starve myself .
Thank you all who have helped, you all know who you are, well done to you
Paul & Taz.
We are nearly into June and yet still the donations come in to help fund the treatment of my lovely dog Taz, thank you Alfie.....most generous of you once again.
Paul.
Yet another act of kindness has been bestowed upon us (Taz and myself) by our very own Russ who sent the proceeds of sales again to help Taz get further treatment at the vets. Thank you from us both.
