It's less than a month since i started finally having great results with DE shaving but i already ask myself what took me so long to abandon that crap, pricey plasticky multiblades.

i'm going to control the monkey i will only add the r41 head to my EJ86 and that's it.Welcome to TSR @sharp_edge . .Watch out for the rabbit hole of shaving assortments, once you fall down it,it's hard to get out.
I will only add, and that's it..We all say that!..The R41 is a very efficient razor. Good preparation respect, technique & 'NO PRESSURE' is the golden rule with the R41, I've trained my mind to 'Shave the lather from my face, rather than the stubble and use the weight of the razor & blade adding limited pressure or non at all, 'especially with the R41. Aggressive blades work well with non-aggressive razors, and vice versa.i'm going to control the monkey i will only add the r41 head to my EJ86 and that's it.
You can't control me! Get back down that rabbit hole! P.i'm going to control the monkey i will only add the r41 head to my EJ86 and that's it.
Gospel truth right there!Good work. Here's another thing. You've got a set of kit there that will do the job marvellously. Nothing wrong with the palmolive cream at all, and although there are 12,492 different types of brush on the market, that one will no doubt creat a decent lather. You are at peak simplicity right now.
That'll all change of course, and in 3 months you'll have the acquisition fever....
I believe I first watched that movie in black and white...silent too if time serves...LOL My first DE was the EJ D89lbl which I still own and enjoy my second was the R41 (2013) which I also still own along with the 56 others in the collection. Enjoy, choose wisely and do your research...THAT monkey is crafty Sir...i'm going to control the monkey i will only add the r41 head to my EJ86 and that's it.
