Straight Razor Shave of the Day

Razor Wade & Butcher 13/16 Wedge New 1st Use
I finally managed to receive my dream mid-1800s Wade & Butcher Sheffield razor (together with a Buffalo Strop)! Nothing else but a wedge of course...hahaha. The razor is heavy... the heaviest among all my other SRs including the Dorko. Looking at the thick wedge, I was a little skeptical with the shave...boy was I wrong. Turns out to be a gentle giant! This razor's edge from the Seller was very very smooth and comfortable on all parts of my face & neck. 3passes for a dfs result...no issues at all. Absolutely enjoyed this excellent and famous W&B razor!

I posted this picture already on the weekly shave of the day but it should have been here really.

Pre: hot towel and Pears
Soap: Wickham Gothic Revival
Brush: Simpson Commodore best badger X3
Razor: ~1940s Fritz Bracht Tennis 5/8
Post: Wickham Gothic Revival balm.

Love the scent and performance. The balm smells strong enough that I didn't bother with splash. Good close shave, one or two patches of red from overdoing it, and a little sting from the balm as a result but now left with a 'face feeler' so happy days.
