The 'injecting' comes from when the blade is inserted into the razor.I'm not sure I'm no expert lol I just thought that's what they called them as they come out of a cartridge like an injection
Yes I've had those replies on Facebook hahahaIt's not a silly question at all! I don't say that just because I asked it as well: https://www.theshavingroom.co.uk/co...ly-daft-question-about-injector-blades.36303/ ... four pages of full and informative replies ... and some sneering (generally, from me)
To requote the best reply: Yes, you want the sharp edge pointing forward.
I went through a bit of an OCD phase, flipping the blade in my Vector after each shave. I think it made sense at the time because I was expecting to get a lot more shaves out of an AC blade than I actually do. I was reading reports of folk using one Schick Proline for more than a month. I don't know about anyone else, but I usually get 5 shaves out of a Proline, maybe 7 out of a Pro Super.Do injector blades suitable for se razors like my Vector, have a right way up? Or are the blades symmetrical?
I'm not very familiar with injectors. I have a Supply and Parker el Cheapo.
I have always wondered if there is a risk of the sharp edge dragging across metal when inserting in any of the injectors?
