Scent of The Day

What do you think of it Paul? I've just finished mine. I used to sometimes combine it with Oud Sahara which is quite dry and frankincensey, which adds a serious note to the sweetness and almost minty juiciness to TT. I've replaced it with Fakhrul Oudh CPO, but only bought a 3ml bottle and now can't find it on their site any more. Still, plenty of others to try.

I don't love it as much as some of their others, but it's a nice enough scent ... and a good setup to a vintage Musk aftershave which I'll be using tonight.

My favourite it Fakhrul Oudh, which I think is stunning! Ihave the oil and the spray. I do like Oud Malaki and Oud Wafaa, again both the oils and the sprays. I'll be wearing the Oud Sahara oil tomorrow.

How different are the CPO and spray of Fakhrul Oud? I might buy the spray if it's as good as (and similar to) the oil.

I think the best way I can explain it is that the spray is more focussed? The jasmine certainly stands out more and quite loud up front with the spray and the oiliness of the guaiac is more pronounced with the spray. Like many sprays it's quite linear ... in that you get some announcements up front and then it settles down through the balsamic phase before the woods finish the story over a longer period. What I find with the oils, it that it's a much longer story with many reprisals of individual scents coming through at different times in different conversations. HTH.

Different ... sorta.
