Re-plating/restoring an Aristocrat?

Hi,
So i've got a nice little Gillette Aristocrat, works properly and even makes my face nice and smooth of a morning but, can they be restored and re-plated? Should they be? Is it worth it? Who does the work and how expensive can it be?

I'm not particularly attached to it beyond a nice bit of kit. Is it likely to be cheaper to just look out for a shiny one already sorted?

What kind of plating? If it's gold, then you can forget about Dave, he only does the normal stuff.

For gold plating it needs to go to the US.
