Razorock Hawk V3 SS

I had this in my basket but the $20 shipping charge and customs got me thinking I'd prefer a second hand SE1 at that price. I do love my aluminium hawk V2 though.

Hopefully you're right. It works out at £68 (PayPal conversion) including delivery which will be a bargain if it comes in at that. To be fair, even if there's a £25 customs and RM charge it's still good value.
 
Interesting comparison photos here showing the SS V3 head compared to the Ali V2 head. Initial reviews (there's not that many) seem favourable:

A quick question to those that know. My Hawk V3 has now passed through the ILC and is on its way to God's Country. Does this mean it's escaped customs charges or could I still get the dreaded fee to pay card?:

The speed of delivery for this has been outstanding! Worth the $20!

Custom charges are applied on import to the UK , it will clear customs on the tracking even if it has charges applied, then they will be collected before the courier delivers.
