Preparing a synthetic shaving brush

I know that you don't need to soak a synthetic shaving brush before using it, but how many seconds do you have to rinse it under the faucet?

There is something to do with your synthetic after your shave while still wet after rinsing: take a comb with wide spaces between its teeth and comb the "hairs" straight. This will prevent any "doughnutting". Just takes a few seconds and works like a charm.

If you're still standing there rinsing after two seconds....

I just dunk it in water in the basin. Submerge it, pull it out, give it a flick, and then start loading it.

You wet it so it will collect soap when loading
