Zenith in Italy do a "Synt Dark", but the knot is nowhere near as black as the IB one. I like the contrast between handle and knot, so I expect I'll be after one when they come back into stock.
I have got Synt Dark from Zenith and Black Fibre from Muhle, both may look black on pics but in real life depending on surrounding light they are different shades of blackgreybeigebrown, the blackest knot I own is Men-U Pro Black

I wonder if @Shaving Station is planning to stock the Razorock 400?
Nice one. It's on my birthday listWe are indeed @SeanC hopefully arriving later next week.
I just recently received one the other day and I will offer my opinion and as especially opposed to the Maggard 22mm black synthetic.
This brush, the one by Italian Barber, is utterly fantastic!! It has more"backbone" than the Maggard one for sure. That is not to demean the latter as I have been using mine practically daily since the day I received it as I love it so much. They appear to the naked eye to be the same material, but at that point they diverge. For approx. $30 U.S. (shipping not included) you can get both and then use your other brushes to polish your shoes.
SeanC, IMO these surpass the MÜHLE top of the line synthetics with the edge going to the Plissoft Noir one. You NEED these!!
...The Maggard could well be the same knot, just set not quite so deep to allow a bit more splay.
