Go on I'll happily take a try with the Fatboy. It is on my 'at some point' shopping list so why not?

@Satanfriendly - PM incoming. @Bob1955 - I had a Slim and the loaner Fatboy to compare. I liked the Slim because the head shape made it easier to get around the nose. The Fatboy felt slightly different in use, but it's hard to put in words. Sorry, I can't be of more help, but if you want to try the Fatboy, go for it. It's not like there's a big queue.

Had to. Gives me reason to break in to my newly purchased slim and draw comparisons.......even though the slim is that pristine I hate to use it and make it used!

Chris I forgot to mention that I put the Fat Boy through a sonic cleaner. It's had two cycles and is totally clean and shiny. Enjoy

Well chaps in between other razors I have spent quite a bit of time with the Fat Boy and for a razor of its age it turns in an absolute blinder of a shave.

I still haven't been able to get my own slim out yet but time will be found when I am off next week.

I am still a bit sceptical towards adjustables and not sure they really fit in with my requirements.

I will be writing some further words and thoughts in a near future SOTD.

I must say it has been a great honour to give such a nice razor a few outings and what a great pass around.

I am pretty well finished with the Fat Boy at this end. A very nice razor indeed and a delight to use such an aged razor which delivers superb shaves.

Does it need moving on to anyone who is next on the list?

I was speaking to @Rob998 the other day and hope to be meeting up in the near future. He was saying he would certainly like to give it a try and I would be happy to pass it on to him if okay with everyone.

It has made me think about getting my own slim out instead of just staring at it.
