Hi Guys

Was Off the Grid for a Few Months there...Was Busy Moving to Glasgow and All that Upheaval Nightmare Stuff...Anyway...Back in Town So if Anyone Needs a Razor Honed or is Looking for One then I Am Back on Track...Good to be Back...:p

My Newly Acquired Stainless Steel Herder Solingen 5/8th ..Honed on a Naniwa Super Stone Progression...Finished on My 17 K Escher Thuri..Took an Awesome Edge..Came with its Original Box & Looked Never Honed Since Leaving the Factory...The Factory Grinding is Par Excellence...:D

Beautiful Wee Shaver & Zips around the Face like a Porsche...:cool:

Two different Herders... Different branches of the same tree, Friedrich Herder razors were often advertised as being "the original" or "the oldest" Herder brand as opposed to the young upstart Richard.
 
Good to see you back @Fergiebilly , I may be calling on your honing skills soon, I have a razor with a French point that is giving me some grief on the hone, a more experienced hand may be called for!

I'll PM when I return from my holiday in a couple of weeks.

BTW if you happen to come across a 6/8 Kropp or an Osgar razor I'm in the market.
