What a suprise. The first time we've been back to a new Gillette razor in years and they've fucked us financially again in 48 hours! Now down to £13.40 with code STYLE at Gillette web site. P&P included. Shame I bought at £16!

Despite the hundreds I've spent on shaving gear in the past year, I've properly got my arse in my hand over this £2.60 for some reason. I've actually emailed Gillette to refund me the differenceNow down to £13.40 with code STYLE at Gillette web site. P&P included. Shame I bought at £16!

These razors are being sold in my local Sainsbury's - £16.
Hhmm - you've got me thinking now which razor I saw earlier. There was only one Gillette DE. I'll double check which one I've saw.I'm guessing they are right next to the Wilkinson Sword butterfly razor?
So, Gillette have messaged me back along the lines of 'tough shit mate'. Oh well. I'm impressed they managed to read my incensed message though with its numbers that replaced letters during a furious sausage fingered assault of my phone's on-screen keyboard.Despite the hundreds I've spent on shaving gear in the past year, I've properly got my arse in my hand over this £2.60 for some reason. What's wrong with me!?
Now I'm going to grow up and find something worthwhile to get angry about! So, Gillette have messaged me back along the lines of 'tough shit mate'. Oh well. Perhaps the manual is sold separately.Mine arrived in the post today. Nicely packaged, total weight 105g, with handle weight 73g. Very shiny finish, but grip in handle appears adequate. I'll probably give it a run out in the morning. The blade guard refers to reading the manual before use - but no manual included. Who can I sue.....
Would've been even better if you had spent £13.40 on it.I've just used mine. To give some perspective I tend to use an Aristocrat or DE89 both of which are fairly mild, that said I've worked though quie a few DE razors over the years. The handle is longer and the weight of the new Gillette is more than both of my usual razors. I used my standard blade a Supermax Stainless so that I was comparing like for like. My over all impression is that its an excellent razor, maybe my new go to, the handle length felt unusual at first but the shave was superb, close and very comfortable; which given that I hadn't shaved since Sunday night is even better. Probably the best £16 I've spent in a while.
Are you sure??Would've been even better if you had spent £13.40 on it.
But we didn't and that's ok. I'm over it....
