To be honest, very little of the modern stuff I've tried is a patch on the powerhouses of the 1980s and earlier.
Everything has been toned down to appeal to modern tastes and to not offend delicate noses.
I don't pussyfoot around.
I wear Kouros, Antaeus, Drakkar Noir, Aramis 900, Boss No. 1, Halston z-14, Van Cleef & Arpels, Zino, Oscar de la Renta Pour Lui, Quorum, Czech & Speake #88, Blenheim Bouquet, Hammam Bouquet, English Fern, Chanel Cuir De Russie (perfume), Caron Pour Un Homme, Troisimme Homme, Yatagan, Annick Goutal Sables and Knize Sec.
The ONLY modern fragrance that has won me over is Histoires de Parfum 1740. They will put me in my coffin wearing that bad boy.
