Name a typical old geezer scent

I am a stuck with the the past: Aramis, Brut, Drakkar (not noir but the green stuff), Antaeus, Azzaro et al, but are there any modern scents out there you can recommend for an old geezer?

I think it's both old-fashioned and timeless, and I've used it for almost 50 years- Trumper's "Skye".

Of modern scents I like oud as in Floris Leather Oud but then sampled Tom Ford Oud Wood and it was way to young for me actually it did not smell anything like the oud from Floris so re oud the jury is still out
