Merkur Progress 500, numbers not aligned from new, fixed :)

Took me about 8 attempts, but I now have a perfectly aligned number 1 in the right position on the handle.

Didn't realise quite how much OCD I had regarding these things, but things seem nicer with the world now, LMAO

Lol I have OCD certain things are triggers for me and that would certainly be one of them alignment is a big thing to me it’s strange because not everything perfection wise triggers me a lot is to do with random numbers and repetition sounds and movement

The top cap does have to be on the right way ... look at one of the edges and you'll see a nick which needs lining up with the triangle.

Yes, quite, I have always made sure those line up, from day one, I’m talking about the numbers on the bottom of the handle stating at number 1 instead of halfway between 5 and 1

Lol I do that too, with my automatics it’s a breeze as of course I set those myself, and most if not all if my quartz do line up, citizen, edifice, seiko etc

I'm pleased I'm not the only one who goes to such extremes with my automatic watch!!!
