Post has been but sadly still no soap. Looks like it might have gone astray. Having said that weird things happen and it might still arrive.
Try the injector a whole lot flatter than you think might be the answer SteveSo today was the Badger with the MDC soap and my verdict is the same, almost identical to the BDC soap, but a little slicker, more thirsty and it takes longer to load, it also has a very similar reaction to a Badger that the BDC soap in that you get more lather than with a synthetic knot this may just be down to the Badger collecting more soap from the puck?

It's fair to say I'm enjoying both soaps equally Bazz's soap has a great post save feel the MDC is slightly more oily.
Tomorrows world ... Uh Shave will be with the Boar Brush.
Oh and for all you eagle eyed cherries yes I have put a band around the base of the Badger to reduce the knot size and this really helped it to feel less lifeless.
Finally I can't seem to get the Schick Injector to work it seems like it doesn't want to cut hairs no matter which angle I try. I ended up heaping the NN DE halfway through with a Asco blade on its 2nd shave
Initial post shave feel was good if not quite the greatest but after a little while I started to feel some irritation on my upper cheeks and noticed some slight redness. I sometimes get this due to fragrances in soaps and it can be quite hit and miss what does and does not cause it. Sometimes I think it can be due to quantities of fragrance in the soap as much as individual ingredients. Given that the soap ingredients are the same as mdc even if the proportions are experimental I don't think the soap can be to blame. The areas affected tend to be above where the stubble is and I think it is just sensitive skin. A couple of hours later it has all settled down. I wouldn't label this a a fault with the soap itself but I wouldn't continue to use it on this basis.
