Hi SammieM.I have problems with DE getting ingrown hairs all the time. It doesn't matter what razor or blade combination I use. Having said that, I also use straight razors. I do not remember ever getting an ingrown hair using the straight... Might be worth exploring.
Hi Bogeyman.Not to piss on your parade, but ALL modern stainless blades, DE & SE, are coated with Teflon along the edge lest you would cry during a shave. It's the coating that imparts the smoothness and not the sharpness in a DE blade.
...So I guess if a blade packet states PTFE, its likely to have more PTFE on a blade, than a blade packet that doesn't state PTFE?
