Decided to give shaving a miss for a few days,it'll be sometimes next week when I'm going to start shaving as normal, that would mean a 10,12 day stubble, what sort of set up do you recommend to tackle this volume of stubble?

I was thinking a fresh feather in my 39c slant

For that amount of growth, I'd just go with whatever you're most familiar with and take your time. First pass is likely to be just getting it down to a manageable amount of hair and then you can go from there.

Feather in a long handled slant never let me down yet. Just go WTG and gently does it. As the town motto of Kirkintilloch has it "Caw canny but caw awa".
(which being interpreted just means "Go carefully but go".

ya I guess my slant would do the trick, just gonna do more prep beforehand and take my time, probably a 4 pass shave I would imagine

I went out with a girl from Kirkintilloch once, strange place but never knew they had that motto. From memory the local rag has "Mrs Johnston breaks a nail file" on page one and page 5 has the stabbings and murders.

I used to wait 3 days and almost any blade I used was smooth...
It's when I wait 2 days that my face gets picky!..
