I fear that the quality of these once very good brushes have fallen since the move to China, I had one of the British made BK12S and it was like painting the lather on with a cloud.Just done a face lather using the Kent, the Handel is actually more comfortable then I thought, loading the soap was fairly easy and didn't take long at all, the brush is quite floppy though but picks up soap easy. There is a massive splay on the brush so covers alot of my face, was supprised with the about of scritch in this brush wasn't expecting that it's not uncomfortable scritch but none of my other brushes have this feeling, the knot didn't feel that luxurious at all was expecting it to be alot softer, it don't make an amazing lather though in a short period of time. Will include a pic. Will do a shave with it later but intial impressions are I'm not to sure about this brush was hoping it to be alot softer
Oh no how do you know they have moved to China ? It's definitely not that soft has alot of scritch to it especially when you splay the brushI fear that the quality of these once very good brushes have fallen since the move to China, I had one of the British made BK12S and it was like painting the lather on with a cloud.
This is what can happen when you outsource manufacturers. P.

Ok I see thanks for the info such a shame, what is your favourite badger brushThey don't announce it but if you examine the brush and box you'll see that nowhere does it mention where it's made... Usually if made in UK they will shout it from the rooftops. A few years back Fido (of New Forest brushes) asked Kent for a factory tour so he could see how they made their brushes, Kent declined (we concluded at the time it was likely because the airplane ticket to China would have cost them a fortune )
