Karve razors? Are they good, bad or indifferent?
Something hovering on the radar

Thinking thinking thinking
Probably a brass with a C plate as I do like brass razors. And easier to polish up than a miserable matt stainless.
Who invented matt stainless? They must have been quite dull
So I bought a matt brass one instead which makes me equally as dull
No, I haven't...but I'm sure they're as safe as shaving with a malt biscuit or a slice of cheese in the razor instead of a blade.Anyone tried the plate cc and oc “AA”?
I have the SS set, SB from A right through to E and the A is as you would expect mild but with the right blade perfectly usable so I would imagine that the AA would again useable with the right blade if you wanted a very mild razor.Hi guys Sorry to resuming this thread, but I didn’t find any other thread about karve.
Anyone tried the plate cc and oc “AA”?
Thank you
I too like my stainless steel CB Karve razor! I also like the look of the copper Karve sold with three plates (at the moment)Horses for courses, I like it.
