Great Stuff, I have acquired some more for grating and putting in a bowl.Humble by comparison, but have always wanted to have a go with this...View attachment 50350
You shouldn't be disappointed..It's a wonderful non-tallow stick..The ASL is excellent too.Humble by comparison, but have always wanted to have a go with this...View attachment 50350
I wish I had known - I could have sent you one. I just can't seem to avoid picking them up in Spain - they are cheap anywhere - but irresistibly so there. In my opinion it deserves the good reputation it enjoys. A solid performing soap. The La Toja cream in tubes - normal or sensitive - are worth a go too. As pointed out by @Palmolive fox - the aftershave is excellent - 'old school' and does the job well for a good price. I'd consider La Toja balm in the same category - there are at least three types. The company used to make a legendary hard soap called La Toja Manantiales - regrettably - long since gone - discontinued around 2010 I think - I remember seeing it in the mid-90's when I first started going to Spain - unfortunately I had not 'seen the light' about shaving at that point - otherwise I would have bought as much as I could have carried. If you had some to sell you would get stupid money for it these days. The packaging was unusual - a wooden jar with a cork seal - the performance was often considered in the Tabac, Speick or Valobra category. La Toja still use the brand but only for mainstream stuff - shaving gel, deodorant and the like. I hope you like the stick - cheers - I.Humble by comparison, but have always wanted to have a go with this...View attachment 50350

Excellent price! I thought I was doing well getting 200ml off the Bay for £18.99

Excellent, Paul! These Boyes stores seem to be endemic to East Midlands and South Yorkshire, Stephen
I think I might pick up a couple more to stash away
They also had Brut Original, Sport Style and Musk, all for £2 each
Calvin Klein Obsession Aftershave at £20
I spotted some Rapport Aftershave too - seems to ring a bell within my grey matter ?
