I have had a lot of DE's in my time, although no vintage razors. I had trouble finding one (except Feather AS-D2) that fully lives up to my expectation.
Then a BST offer for a Carbon Shaving Cx 316L came up, and I took the chance and bought it. Wow! There it was - my holy grail and Daily driver. From that moment, I knew my search was over.
I have since had mail correspondance with Sean from Carbon Shaving and have now acquired a nice little collection of Cx'es.
Beware! They are addictive.
From left to right: Ti +plate, Cx-Titan .68, Ti Two-Tone .68, 316L/Ti .68.
