Hi Everyone,

After inheriting my Grandfathers 1953 Gillette Super Speed a few years ago, I decided to give it a go. I also wanted to ditch the Gillette Fusion as the blades are just too expensive.

The good news is, after a bit of trial and error, i'm completely converted. Ive been using Gillette 7 o'clock Super Stainless, but recently switched to Astra Superior Platinum blades. I am using either a standard Palmolive shaving stick, or Arko shaving cream.

I thought id join in on a forum to see what other products are recommended etc & what tips you guys have.
