As patw mentioned above, have a look in the straight razor part of the forum here. There is plenty of advice to be had.
 
If you're near Dundee there's The Gentleman's Groom Room where Ian is more than helpful.

Likewise, in Glasgow there is Brian at The Executive Shaving Company.

Both have loads of advice to share and can point you in the right direction.

As is mentioned previously, read through the vast amount of threads in the forum. It's how I started half a year ago and I haven't looked back.
