Gillette Nacet in my Feather AS D2 for first time. A memorable shave. Smooth and very close. Three pass with extended ATG produced almost no alum nip. Best yet in my new shaving experiences.
Interesting. As I recall, there were 3-piece Gillette (?) razors with the crocodile logo on the top cap, and which occasionally show up on auction site(s). Were these intended for markets other than the UK?I have discovered that the name Nacet is Arabic and the blade destined for middle east markets. And it is pronounced just as you would expect in English, Nasset, rhymes with Bassett.
Warning: the dancing crocodiles will make you laugh but you'll have "Nacet twoooo, Nacet twooo-oo" going round your head all day and it might ruin your experience of an otherwise great shave, so only watch this if you don't believe me. Don't say I didn't warn you. Gillette should probably stop making ads altogether.
Then there's this:- https://sharprazorpalace.com/attach...itish-made-double-edge-nacet-safety-razor.jpgSeemingly they're made in India (the 3-piece razor of the same name I mean). https://r.tapatalk.com/shareLink/to...&share_fid=20187&share_type=t&link_source=app
I saw one on Fleabay quite some time ago, but thought nothing of it, and did nothing about it. Lacking in "Carpe Diem" at the time, evidently. That's cool. Looks like a later Tech with an open comb and a top cap sponsored by Lacoste! Would be a nice thing to have and use if you ever found one.
