Favourite Wine

I am generally a Sparkling wine connoisseur, er drinker, especially Champagne clones from California and Australia. I am also fond of Rose wine. What do you enjoy?

I love Rioja and chianti, and valpolicella (amarone) lovely stuff. Gave up on the French reds (too many headaches).

I'm not really a wine connoisseur, but like Isiah, I love drinking a Sancerre in the summer. Also love the big-hearted Riojas, but my favourite is a Douro. Can be cheap as chips but always delicious. Never had a duff one, even at 3 or 4 Euro.
