They can go for 30-50£ for a working but scruffy one up to 150-200£ for one in mint condition as part of a stropping set so it's all down to the condition. P.Hi guys, just spotted a beauty Ever Ready Streamline on fleabay, (174119811792) looks perfect 1919 patent model. Offered em 50 queens but they knocked me back. Any advice on how much I should stretch to? Ta very much.
That'll go for considerably more than £50.00 I feel. I'd hazard a guess that it may go for at least double that; as it is, indeed, part of a stropping set. It's not, despite the seller's claim, 100 years old. The ‘patent applied for' doesn't indicate its providence. In fact, the set appears to be an Ever Ready 1912 ‘Streamline'. Although the patent goes back to 1912/1919, these fellows were introduced in the 1930s and were being produced up until the 1950s. Still desirable, nonetheless; although, I would want to see more pictures of the razor's condition...Hi guys, just spotted a beauty Ever Ready Streamline on fleabay, (174119811792) looks perfect 1919 patent model.
