E45 for aftershave

Does anyone use E45 lotion or cream as an aftershave balm?

If so, what is your opinion?

I do use Arco natural cream but my wife complains about the smell (I think it more or less odourless!)

I have recently been reaching for E45 lotion, which I quite like. The thicker cream might be better when I'm cycling in the winter.

Your views, gentlemen?

I use the Cerave moisturising lotion sometimes and its great. It leaves my face feeling soft and has no scent to it so I could apply an aftershave splash or EDT

Have to try it, Karl, but it's nearly three time the price of E45 lotion, so it would have to be good!

E45 lotion £1.50/100ml
Cerave lotion £4/100ml

E45 cream is fairly thick but E45 lotion is not. It comes in a pump top bottle, and is quite milky.

Noxzema as pre-shave, E45 as an aftershave, toilet soap as shaving soap, dog or carpet blades to shave with. Life is too short, enjoy it whilst you can.

It can be found cheaper in other places. Superdrug do the 473ml at £2.85 per 100 ml. Might be other online sites that do it cheaper (can sometimes get it at a good price on Amazon)

Cerave works out a similar price to any other cheap aftershave balm most bottles only have 100ml in for £5er maybe even cheaper unless your buying the cheap one when there is an offer on too
