Cleaning DE Razor help

Hi Guys,

I've been DE shaving for just over 3 years. I have only owned one razor in that time - The EJDE89L

I regularly clean it with cotton buds and boiling water etc but it seems quite a long winded way around it.

Does anybody have an 'ultimate' guide to cleaning their razors? The easier (and cheaper) the better!

Warm soapy water + old toothbrush + rinse well = clean razor in less than 2 minutes.

+1 for using a toothbrush. I sometimes use a very minute amount of toothpaste instead of soap and that does a great job polishing things up.

This. Although I live in an area with very soft water so 99% of the time a rinse under the tap is enough.

Look at razor.
Think 'Chuffin' Nora that's mucky'.
Shave with it.

Takes a couple of seconds at the most
