Brush of the day.

I've only had maybe three or four shaves in the last month, but it's been lathered up with this blonde haired fop:

I call him Boris.

The handle is from Haryali and is usually found with a synthetic knot, which I pulled and put into a vintage handle. Left with what is a rather nice wooden handle, I dropped in a pretty bog-standard boar knot from China (I got 10 in a box for peanuts, literally). The knot is actually very good - it softens with little more than maybe a minute in water and lathers up lovely without eating it all for itself.
I have exactly that handle from the dreaded Haryali but mine came with a badger knot that must have come from the Itchy & Scratchy Show. It personifies the phrase "rough as a badger's..."

I should put a boar in mine.
