hello people so i came across these deals yesterday,
i got the wilkinson sword de razor (my first ever de razor) for £2.50 in the clearance section,
i reckon this is instore only and i'd say dont go out your way to go to a boots store as chances are they might not be some in your local store,
obviously all depends on your luck but if youre coming across one, why not check i guess?

i managed to grab two wilkinson sword de razors

i went in to grab the boots shaving stick, i literally picked a few up to grab and they literally the cover just fell off so the seal was just a bit loose,
so i actually got chit chatting to the manager and being the cheeky guy that i am i just thought id ask can you knock anything off the price for it not being sealed properly with covid and all and i thought worst he can say is no and he actually gave them to me half price lool,
anyways got hope and just chucked a put of cellotape on them so theyre completely sealed until i need to use them :)

dont know whether this is national, instore only or online too

anyways hope this helps

The Wilkinson Classics at £2.50 are a right bargain.
I'd get a handful as stocking fillers or for PIFs.
The Boots stick is good and it's a great price, but I can't get excited about soaps.
They all last so long that bargains don't save money and you end up with a lifetime's supply before you know it.
DE-Shavettes are too expensive at any price.
Step away from the nasty shavette. If £11.99 seems a bargain for a shit shave... go ahead.

tbh i wasnt even looking in the clearance are my eyes just stumbled upon one, then the manager whilst chatting to him pulled out the only other one

funny thing is i just ordered on on ebay for just over a fiver delivered which is still a good price considering you get a tuck too

dont know if youve used the bulldog shaving soap in the wooden bowl but that was from like 11-12 quid to like 8, which isnt bad

the manager at boots told me theyre no longer going to be selling those wilkinson sword de razors,
but i was surprised to seethe shavtte tbh, not seen one in boots before

ohhh yea on a side not i noticed brut aftershave for £2.99 at b&m and was like 4-5 quid in asda/morrisons etc

Be wary of the Boots shave stick, it could be fine for you but for myself it caused the worst burning I've ever come across.

But it's worth it for the container alone to keep other shaving sticks eg Palmolive, Wilkinson, Speick etc.

yea good idea, didnt even think of doing that tbh

i'll let you know how i get on with it, never had any reactions to any soaps, creams etc etc

I have quite a few reactions to a lot of soaps, but the Boots one is the worst, seems a few others have had the reaction to it as well.

I'd recommend doing a hand lather with it first.
yea thats a good idea actually

In the Boots Valley Park, Croydon they had 2 sets left in the clearance section that contain the following:

Wilkinson Sword DE razor, 5 blades, brush and the blue shaving soap for £10

If you're after a nice, large bamboo soap bowl then Bulldog is down to £8!

I've no idea if the soap is any good, but if it is, double bargain!

A few guys on the Facebook shaving group have bought it and found it doesn't lather (seems to be the same dud formula as Trumper's)
