They're selling their new shorter handles for $55 with a new top cap included for free.

UPD: sold out in 15 minutes. Oh, well...

West Coast Shaving have them in stock and provide a spare brass SB/OC plate with it as well.

I’ve got one on its way to me - it’ll take a couple of weeks to get here and I expect I’ll take a customs hit on it. I’m looking forward to it arriving, though.

My razor finally arrived in the UK today and took less time to arrive from WCS than I thought it would.

I tried the original M plate this evening with a Rapira Platinum Lux and had a smooth, pleasurable, mellow and issue free shave.

The razor didn’t feel as aggressive as I had feared after reading some reviews on other forums.

I really like the stonewashed finish and I enjoyed using the original handle. I tend to prefer longer handles and this was right up my street. The thinner width helps make it very nicely balanced and light in the hand. I had zero issues with grip.

The razor also lives up to to precision part of the name. It has clearly been very well made and the tolerances are spot on.

All in all, this struck me as being a very well made and thought out razor design. I can’t wait to try out the hybrid brass plate that came with it soon.

I had such a razor (long handle, M plate) on a loan for a few weeks. Liked it immensely. Now I have a stubby handle with a newer cap en-route to me. And also eagerly waiting for the H plates to become available again.
