For me it has to be a Roast Turkey Dinner. As I like darker meat it has to be a whole one,I have on order, a Heritage “Narrangesset”, which is a free roamer . Less breast meat as a result but better taste. Starter Smoked Salmon or Smoked trout dish Have Roast potatoes + Veg with Chipolatas, stuffing and bread sauce. probably no Dessert as too full.
Plenty Turkey left to add to cold meats pork pie and salads for evening and Boxing Day.If lucky May stretch to a Turkey Curry. As youngest with family may appear a few days after Xmas, have just collected a small Haunch of Venison for that occasion.

Lunch on Xmas Day will probably porridge with honey and toast with marmalade. I may have a special coffee or two!
In case you think I am a weird bu**er....I am on night shift on Christmas Eve/Christmas Morning and won't resurface until late afternoon so we will be having our Turkety lunch on the 26th!

We may in fact have ours on Xmas Eve, which leaves the big day free to do what we want.By the way unless you are having Beef, there should be no Yorkshire Pudding with your mains.
