Wives and shaving creams

For years my wife used the usual tins of gloop for her shaving routine, but the last time home I showed her how to use creams and soaps being as I had sufficient.

Big mistake. So taken up with the quality and scents she then went through my collection and took most of the OSP creams which had a sweeter scent. I am now four tubs down

To be honest I am quite happy she has taken to something which will do her better in the long term.

Anyone else's wife took a shine to your shaving gear?

Oh, and of course a brush was needed so I am one Muhle Ivory synthetic short. I can't remember this being part of the deal.

They haven't dared to use the OSP !

I do the lather for both SWMBO and my youngest son so I choose what they have

My other half complained that shaving her legs always resulted in a blood bath.
I decided to observe and give advice.
To my amazement, her technique consisted of spraying on some foam and then hacking at her legs with a cartridge razor.
It was not a pretty sight.
So I offered to do it for her the next time and the offer was accepted.
I gave her the full program: hot towel, nice soap, great brush, Eversharp Fashion Razor, two gentle passes, ASB.
Great results. Smooth legs, great scent. Beautiful.
She then accepted that my method was indeed superior and then switched to using some electric thing to do her legs.
Women!
At least I was able to keep my favourite razor.

Hell will freeze over when swambo is going to take a shine to my gear, an ancient Venus mk1 plus RSC gel is all she needs she say. The legs will never see anything but those stupid wax papers. I am very safe here.
