Williams Mug Shaving soap.

I neglected to see this until now. Yes, I emailed the company when it all went down and got a response that it was discontinued as has been posted already. Fortunately I have LOVED vintage Williams for some time and saw to it a bit ago to have a decent stash. Don't see a resonse to Mike @Mike Smart so allow me to do an "instant pif" for you and send you a puck of the "Good Stuff" (Vintage Williams) and I'll try to post a shave in here occasionally to keep it off the second page :ROFLMAO: Maybe Fuzzy will come back too and add to it

I wish I'd bought some Williams before it went out of production. It's not really common place in the UK, but I presumed it to be in the same kind of association for American shavers as UK shavers had with the Palmolive Shaving Stick.

It's a shame both of these soaps are now resigned to history.

:(

Yep, a good comparison. I only have 1 Palmolive stick before they became scarce. It is a shame for them both !

I have about 8 or so modern Williams pucks I bought at a Mexican grocery store on the border in the past and I can get a good lather & shave using a synth brush on one. I had one vintage Williams one that shaved great, but I also had an entire roll of vintage Palmolive Barber Shop pucks of which two pucks are left that I am sure is in the same vein. Good soaps of days gone by.

Based on the markup now, you could probably sell those for over 20 quid each on ebay now.
