Will the real Old Spice please stand up!

I bought an Old Spice AS bottle from 100ML for mine dad, and its vey cheap in Germany just € 3,95 I paid, and looking on the packing it states being produced in Cologne in Germany, yes the German city where Cologne was invented :)

I've come back to this thread having just bought a new bottle of Old Spice from Wilkinsons, it's the middle option, white glass bottle and red stopper.

It smells quite a lot different to the one it has replaced, I acctually preferred the other bottle with the cream glass and white stopper.

Still enjoying the new splash, an d for a fiver it's ridiculous value for money, but I'm off to Amazon to try and find out if my original supplier has ny of the good stuff left, or maybe get some of the Indian stuff :)

The £5 from Wilkinsons is the one I use. I quite like it, and it is very good as an actual aftershave. Works well on my face anyway

I read this thread with interest, when looking around it looks like the boys and girls in P&G have stretched out this brand quite a lot in last few years, apart from the original (or classic) I can see these products:

Lagun
Champion
Whitewater
Noir
Sensitive

And there are two more from the sub continent Lime and Musk.

Can the honorable gents here please let me know what these smells like (ie similar to..)

Thinking seriously to get two 100ml bottles from India of the Original and Musk should I or get something from the above list?..

I have the Whitewater, noir and Musk with the original. I would go for the original and musk. Whitewater is a very modern smell, I didn't like it, Noir is something like a toilet bleach with a hint of old spice, however its quite fresh and when smelt from bottle its not nice, it settles to nicer smell when applied but wouldn't bother with them while you can get the original.
As some say, If it's not broken don't fix it!

I've still not located a definite source of the cream bottle / white stopper Old Spice but am enjoying the white bottle red stopper stuff well enough and it does do a very good job of being an after shave :)

Jeez, maybe this thread will bring that whittlin fool/Old Spice junky member back sooner. Yeah, The Big G does like his Spice, and has huffed many different aftershaves and colognes from a wide range of different years.

That would be a funny guy to post here about the stuff. Also, it still continues to get very good reviews at places like Basenotes.

Any ideas where I can get some of the Indian stuff in the plastic bottle. I need my fix.
Ebay.com not ebay.co.uk, £5.80 delivered for the 100ml plastic bottle , a bit more for the 150ml milk churn bottle.

Mine arrived today, took just under two weeks, I am amazed how good this scent is in the dry down aspect.

Starts very clovy and dryup like fresh carnations and clove. Very special scent and to hell with those ladies who say it's old man scent, very very classy.

Edit, good prices on ebay.uk too, see 200ml for £12 delivered. See item 141396529585.

Hi all, just ordered from India through the bay uk, can I ask those that have ordered it from the same continent how long it roughly takes ?

Thanks

We sell this variety in the pharmacy not sure if it's common or rare probably should read the entire thread but I'd anyone wants some just let me know and I'll order more in.

How much including postage?

That's a dead ringer for the stuff I've been looking for, I'm liking the red top, but it's not quite as 'clean' smelling as the white top :)

Get my spice from ASDA. Fiver a bottle, brilliant on the skin, soothing and kills razor burn. Wife thinks it leaves a nice clean talcum powder smell. Oh yeah, I'm 33 and most of the guys I work with who are in their 20's think it's Calvin Klien.........

Greg.
