Fareham man sets up his own range of shaving soaps after suffering with sensitive skin

Interesting, didn't know it was supposed to be based on a recipe from 1912. I remember the thread asking for help naming the new soap base and someone recommended 1912, nothing to do with any recipe age.... Seems to be some marketing spin cooked up since.

i was the one who came up with the name - it was based on the fact that i had been testing Darron's earlier experiments with hard soap which he had named 1922 - i mistakenly referred to it as 1912 which then became the name for the new soap. The original 1922 was based on an old recipe and Darron has a keen interest in old soap recipes which he may have incorporated into the 1912.
