Which synth next?

Having just sold my Chubby Synthetic on the forum I'm looking for a new synth to replace it. I didn't get on with the Chubby because of the short loft, it had too much backbone for me.

Has anyone tried a Shavemac synthetic fan knot? I'm tempted to go for one of those (26mm knot with 56mm loft).
Yes I have 2, 24mm Fan and 26mm Bulb. I like them both the 24mm is a very accurate brush the 26mm is denser and very luxurious in feel. You can vary the loft to suit your need when you order them.

I'm currently looking for 1 more synth to add to my ever growing den and narrowed it down to either the Yaqi Mew Brown you mentioned or they do a Cashmere knot in a green handle called the Dandelion. I'll be watching your thread with interest. Good luck in your search.
I've just received a Yaqi Dandelion/Cashmere...baught it because I was so impressed with the Yaqi 24mm Tuxedo Segrada Familia that seems to have become my favourite brush since starting to use it only a few days ago. I've read reviews that indicate that there's not that much difference between the Tuxedo and Cashmere knots, but the latter has a slightly softer face-feel and the Tuxedo marginally more backbone. Can't wait to try the Dandelion for myself!

I've also spotted the Alpha Outlaw brush, which certainly looks very distinctive and is said to have G4 fibres. Has anybody here had experience of this brush?

I have that exact brush with the G4 knot. It's a good looking brush and works very well with hard soaps. I picked mine up from Shaving Station

I've ordered a Shavemac 26mm synthetic fan knot. I'd been debating what to get for ages and in the end got fed up so just pulled the trigger on this. I've gone for one of the special colour resins as well so we'll see how that turns out.

Awesome. The range of colours available is mind blowing. Put some pics up when it arrives

I finally decided on the Chubby 2 synth and have been very pleasantly surprised. I bought it almost expecting to be disappointed, but in fact it's a really good brush, if a bit different to any other synth I've tried due tof its density and low loft. During the first seconds of my initial attempt at face lathering with it my heart sank, because it just wasn't producing the copious lather of my other synths, and felt like a 20mm knot, However, with a bit more pressure and more water added it started doing its stuff, and with a very pleasant feel on my face.
