Which synth next?

I have around 20 badger brushes and a couple of boars, with my preferred brushes from these being a Morris and Forndran Blonde badger, a Shavemac two band silverstip and and an El Druida with an unidentified two band badger knot. A while ago I tried a Muhle V2 synth and didn't rate it very highly; it was lacking in density and substance. I also got a Razorock with Plissoft knot and that was better, but again I didn't like it as much as my top badger brushes.
However, I then bought a Yaqi brush with the Tuxedo knot, the Segrada Familia, and have found that to be fantastic, with decent density and backbone and a lovely soft face feel. I've since added two more Yaqis, one with the Mew Brown knot, which is similarly excellent, and the other with the Timberwolf knot, which is good but maybe not quite up with the other two.
Obviously I don't really need another brush, but a like experimenting and would like another synth. The problem is I'm not sure which one to go for. The ones I`'ve thought of include the Simpson Chubby 2 and a Taconic brush available on Amazon. The Chubby is what I would consider expensive, while the Taconic seems to get very few mentions on shaving forums. So, I'm wondering if anybody has any comments on these two brushes, or would like to recommend any others. Ones available from UK vendors would be my preference. Cheers all.

I'm currently looking for 1 more synth to add to my ever growing den and narrowed it down to either the Yaqi Mew Brown you mentioned or they do a Cashmere knot in a green handle called the Dandelion. I'll be watching your thread with interest. Good luck in your search.

I have the Chubby 2 and although expensive it is superior to all my other brushes. It has a very dense knot and lathers like no other. Backbone is excellent too.

The Dandelion is a superb brush in every respect. Someone described it as well worn boar. Stiff without being too much so, plenty of backbone and a God for face lathering. Highly recommend and for £20 or less a gift of a price

The other knot to consider is the grey/white or silk smoke by another name. Again like the Cashmere but with softer tips and a slightly more rounded performance.

The Tuxedo's I love but do find them a little too dense and they do tend to clog. Lather monsters though.

Razorock 400's as a do it all cheap brush which doesn't step out of line. A real bargain

Some good opinions here, but I'm still dithering. I've probably gone off the idea of the Chubby. I didn't much enjoy the "wall of badger" sensation when I tried the version in Best a while back, so probably wouldn't like a wall of synth fibres, either. Coming into contention are the L or XL EJ brushes. I know they use the same fibres as the Muhle synths, but the bigger knots seem to get a lot more love.

Having just sold my Chubby Synthetic on the forum I'm looking for a new synth to replace it. I didn't get on with the Chubby because of the short loft, it had too much backbone for me.

Has anyone tried a Shavemac synthetic fan knot? I'm tempted to go for one of those (26mm knot with 56mm loft).
